I respect the years of experience you have in the field of transcription. I heard you lived in UK where you qualified to be one of the first Australians to gain your credentials in a then, new International Braille standard. I would like to discuss with you your prices and speed of delivery for my thesis in Human relationships between a parent and adult child. Thank you for your reply
Yes, I did indeed reside in England during 1990 and attained a Braille Proficiency Certificate. The Certificate was not available in Australia then. I also worked for Technovision Systems Ltd, a company specialising in products for the blindness and low-vision sector. In my role as Customer Representative, a lot of my time was spent assisting clients over the telephone in the use of the Eureka A4, a computer manufactured and designed in Melbourne, Australia, for people with sight loss as there was no screen. Apparently, the Australian accent was a hoot! This was based on customer feedback which reached the Executive Director. I also had the opportunity to attend a trade exhibition in another location. Whilst there, I was honoured to meet a notable, influential politician.
